At the end of 2025 we completed a topographical survey in a busy town centre. It was such a nice site so we decided to turn it into a short video showcasing our workflow from start to finish.
This project is a great example of how combining best-in-class tools from different manufacturers can deliver both speed and precision without compromise.
We established a robust control network using Leica total stations, ensuring survey-grade accuracy across the site. With NavVis MLX scanners, we captured the entire area in just a few hours - minimising disruption while maximising coverage.
Back in the office, the PointCloudScene software enabled us to extract detailed CAD and GIS data, delivering a full set of conventional topographical survey outputs. On top of that, the client received access to the full point cloud via the SkyGIS platform, making the data easy to explore and use.
